- A choice of medical plans
ATK's medical plan options cover preventive exams, immunizations, and hearing and vision checks at 100%. Additional features:
- Variable deductible, copay, and monthly premium amounts based on the plan you choose
- Built-in wellness and health education programs
- Tobacco-free premiums at a lower rate
- Two plan options that offer a company-funded Health Savings Account (HSA)
- Online modeling tools to help determine which plan option is best for you
- Generally, dependent coverage to age 26; student status not required
- Two dental plan options
Diagnostic and preventive services are covered at 100% with no deductible under both plan options. The plans also feature:
- Coverage for basic and major restorative services, prosthetics, repairs, and sealants
- An optional orthodontic benefit
- 401(k)
- Participation via automatic enrollment at 6% pre-tax contribution rate; option to contribute from 1% to 50% via pre-tax, after-tax, and/or Roth 401(k) basis. Highly compensated employees are subject to lower contribution limits
- 100% match on first 3% and 50% on next 3% of pre-tax and/or Roth 401(k) contributions, subject to one-year vesting requirement
- Non-elective (automatic) contribution based on age and years of service, subject to end-of-year service requirement and three-year vesting

- Paid Time Off (PTO)
- Company-paid personal, vacation, and sick days are combined into this benefit
- Annual accrual is based on years of service
- Full-time employees may elect to buy or sell up to 40 hours of PTO each year

- Flexible Spending Accounts
- Set aside pre-tax dollars to offset eligible expenses for medical, dental, dependent care, and qualified transportation

- Dependent Life Insurance
- Spouse coverage from $25,000 to $100,000; child coverage options of $5,000 or $10,000

- Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance
- Option to elect additional coverage of one to five times annual base pay, up to $2 million

- Short-Term and Long-Term Disability
- Company-provided benefit of 80% of annual salary, up to 26 weeks (STD); optional buy-up coverage to 100% up to 26 weeks
- Company-provided benefit of 50% of annual salary up to two years (LTD); optional buy-up coverage from 50% basic benefit to 65% (LTD)
- LTD enrollment within 30 days of hire does not require proof of good health
- Long-Term Care Insurance
- Optional, payroll-deduction access to discounted group rates
- Covers custodial nursing care not covered by Medicare or health insurance should you become unable to care for yourself due to an illness or injury
- Adoption Assistance
- Reimbursement of qualified expenses, including legal fees, for adoption of minor children
