Ballistic Trajectory Extended Range Munition (BTERM)
ATK is developing the Ballistic Trajectory Extended Range Munition (BTERM) to provide the U.S. Navy an affordable, reliable, and effective munition to meet the services requirement to provide naval surface fire in support of forces ashore.

The rocket-propelled BTERM projectile combines GPS/INS guidance with a lethal blast-fragment warhead in a rolling air airframe designed to be fired from 5-inch MK45 guns modified to accept extended range munitions. It has been fired from both 54-caliber and 62-caliber guns and has successfully demonstrated extended range guided flight.
