ATK’s Excalibur 1b is an XM982E precision guided, extended range 155mm artillery projectile that provides sub 10-meter CEP (Circular Error Probability) at extended ranges (out to 41 km), with high reliability at less than half the unit cost of the existing Excalibur 1a.
