Standard Missile-3
ATK provides the MK136 third-stage rocket motor (TSRM) and solid divert and attitude control system (SDACS) for the Standard Missile-3 (SM-3).

Under development by Raytheon, the SM-3 is the interceptor component of the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense System that will provide ballistic missile defense capability against medium-range and long-range missiles from U.S. Navy ships equipped with an updated Aegis weapons system.

The ATK TSRM is a dual-pulse, high-performance rocket motor with a composite case, thrust vector control nozzle, hybrid attitude control system, and flight termination system. SDACS is a multiple-pulse propulsion subsystem that provides end-game maneuvering capability for the SM-3’s MK142 kinetic warhead..
