ATK Aerospace Group is the world’s top producer of solid rocket propulsion systems and a leading supplier of military and commercial aircraft structures. It also specializes in small and micro-satellites; satellite components and subsystems; lightweight space deployables and solar arrays; low-cost, quick-to-market launch solutions; flares and decoys; and energetic materials and related technologies. The group has extensive experience supporting human and space payload missions.
ATK Aerospace Group includes five divisions: Aerospace Structures, Defense and Commercial, Space Components, Space Launch and Space Systems.
ATK Aerospace Structures is a world leader of mission-critical composite structures for the aerospace and defense industries. With more than 50 years of experience, ATK uses advanced composite manufacturing technologies to produce lightweight and reliable structures for three distinct business areas: commercial and military aircraft programs and launch programs.
The common thread among these businesses is the application of composites to deliver structures that exceed our customer expectations. Whether it is the skeletal structure of the Airbus A350XWB airframe, the wing skins of the F-35 Lightning II, or the flight-proven composite fairings for the Delta II and Delta IV launch vehicles, ATK’s commitment remains the same — deliver affordable, high-quality composite structures on time, every time.
The products within ATK Aerospace Structures include: the Arrow II antiballistic missile interceptor; the Rolls Royce Trent XWB engine; the Delta II and Delta IV structures; the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter; and the Nitrogen Oxygen Recharge System.
