Values

Our values focus and align us as a company. They form the foundation for our behavior, how we conduct business, make decisions and treat others. We are trusted, innovative, persistent, execution-focused, patriotic, and generous in our giving.

Safety is a core ATK competency, with high visibility at the executive management level and accountability driven throughout all levels of management, right down to the factory floor. All employees are encouraged to actively participate in safety programs to help make sure they can return home safely every day.

At ATK, “Do Right” is more than a slogan – it’s a way of life. We are firmly committed to conducting our operations ethically and in compliance with all the laws and regulations that govern our business. The way we conduct business with our co-workers, customers, suppliers, competitors, regulatory agencies, and our communities shapes our corporate reputation – one of the most important assets we have. At ATK, we stress that no success is worth the expense of compromising our integrity.

ATK recognizes the responsibility we have as a large employer in many of the communities where we live and work. Giving back to our neighbors in need is the responsible thing to do. Our combined giving focuses on several areas, including support for the United Way, education, community investment and donations to charity.

Across our company, ATK has a strong connection to the military. Many ATK employees and their family members serve or have served in the military. Many of our facilities are located in strong military communities. We understand the immense sacrifices service members make on our behalf, and we make it a priority to show our appreciation through a variety of efforts.

ATK is committed to environmentally sound manufacturing processes that protect our nation’s natural resources. We recognize that a responsible approach to the management of the air, water and land resources in our communities is the right thing to do for our company and our planet.

A healthy workforce contributes to the health of our business.
