Fuzes
In designing and developing more capable munitions and gun systems, ATK is leading the way in fuzing technology. For the Copperhead artillery projectile, we designed the fuze for proper functioning regardless of impact angle or target characteristics. For electronic time fuzes, we developed a quartz tuning fork time base, arming delay, and an LCD set for the soldier. For mortar fuzes and safe-and-arm devices, we set the standard for high-quality manufacturing at low cost. Today we are producing next-generation fuzes, such as the Multi-Option Fuze for Artillery (MOFA) and Electronic Time Fuze for Mortars (ETFM). |

DSU-33D/B Proximity Sensor
The DSU-33D/B Proximity Sensor is an all-weather, battery operated, active, radio frequency, ranging radar. It is a single-mission device capable of operating in an electronic countermeasure environment. The sensor mounts on and provides a proximity function for the MK 80 and M117 series general-purpose bombs. The sensor is capable of both high- and low-drag releases and meets the unique requirements of the U.S. Air Force and Navy. |

FMU-139C/B Electronic Bomb Fuze
The FMU-139 Bomb Fuze is an electronic impact/impact delay fuzing system designed for use by both the U.S. Navy and Air Force in the MK 80 series and M117 low-drag and high-drag, guided or unguided, high-explosive bombs. |

Medium-Caliber Fuzes
ATK has produced more than 15 million M758/M759 standard point detonating fuzes for Bushmaster M792 HEI-T 25mm and M789 HEDP 30mm rounds. ATK has also produced more than 650,000 FMU-151 point detonating fuzes for the PGU-38 25mm HEI round and 950,000 FMU-154 fuzes for the PGU-9 HE 40mm round for AC-130 aircraft. Both are fired from the AC-13 aircraft. |

M745 Fuze
The ATK M745 fuze is a point-detonating fuze. Similar to the M734 used extensively by the U.S. Army and Marines, the M745 relies on deceleration force instead of electrical output to initiate detonation. |

Multi-Option Fuze for Artillery (MOFA)
MOFA is an inductively or manually set proximity, time, delay-after-impact, and point detonating fuze. It is operable with all existing and developmental artillery systems (105mm and 155mm), including Paladin. It also is operable with all bulk-filled projectiles, such as high-explosive rounds or illuminating rounds. It offers increased accuracy, reliability, and performance over fuzes it replaces. |

MK419 Multi-Function Fuze
- U.S. Navy multi-function fuze for 5"/54, 5"62, and 76mm
- Provides point detonation, electronic (variable) time, and height of burst, air (proximity), and autonomous modes
- Fuze operates in autonomous mode for gun systems without a fuze setter in development
