ATK and USO-Metro DC Host AUSA Reception

In cooperation with the Metro Washington USO, ATK hosted a reception during the Annual AUSA Meeting and Exposition in Washington, D.C. The event was held to show support for causes and organizations that support soldiers, their families and most importantly, Wounded Warriors. As the featured speaker during this year’s reception, Lieutenant General William Troy, Director of the Army Staff, expressed his appreciation not only for the innovative and reliable products that ATK employees produce, but also for their personal efforts to support soldiers and their families. The event also featured an appearance by Miss America 2012, Laura Kaeppler. Since 1941, Miss America has made appearances globally with the USO to entertain and support our men and women in uniform.
