Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) is a program that started in California in 1974 by an informal group of scientists and educators who were concerned about low female participation in math classes. This conference is an effort to engage girls in science and math.

Through hands-on workshops and a keynote presentation, the EYH conference provides opportunities for young women to meet and learn about careers from women working in science- and math-related fields. Expanding Your Horizons of Northern Utah is sponsored by ATK Space Systems.
Our 2009 EYH conference will be held Saturday, November 7, at Mt. Ogden Jr. High. Online registration opened September 27 and will close October 25 or when the conference is full. Additional conference opportunities are posted on the EYH National site.
